outgrowing favorites

We're very quickly outgrowing the jumperoo so here are a series of pictures to show her enjoyment before she outgrows it. She really loves the thing!

Swim Time

Charlotte went to a pool for the first time today - Fishers' YMCA outdoor swim area. She absolutely loved it. They have a nice progressive pool area (0'-3') for little ones like Charlotte and a fun splash park. It was a very fun playdate, indeed!

Babies love the magical disappearing water (re: water grates).

vacation

As per recent tradition we ventured down to TN for the 4th of July. This year, Charlotte was able to enjoy the boat ride (before she fell asleep and after she was done being annoyed with her life jacket) and the fireworks! She seemed to enjoy the fireworks and wasn't bothered by the loud booms. Grandpa Terry did a good job of covering her ears just in case, though. :)



Ah yes, she was thrilled.

Still no teeth, but she's cruising around more and actually stood unassisted for a few seconds the other day. She has recently taken to bouncing in her crib:

It's walker time!

9 months

Charlotte had her 9 month wellness visit today. She's 30" (90th percentile) and 23lbs 11oz (99th percentile). I can't believe it's already been 9 and a half months! Here are some pictures from this weekend:

I'm still wondering who she resembles the most. Having not had any close blood relations myself, short of my dad, I'm really curious about inherited features and whatnot. Charlotte still has those beautiful blue eyes and at this point they seem to be staying. I think she's leaning more towards Matt's side of the family. :)
